Dear Guest,
In this "zero-distance" world, I think, there is a huge shift in how people seek, access, and interact with information and communities as the web moves from the traditional passive experience to one that is more active and relationship based.
Two years ago I decided to build my own web site with the purpose of keeping all my critical personal and professional data remotely, so that I could access it equally well from any web enabled device and I would not have to worry about recovering all the data back in case of my local devices’ failures. Since then, I use it as my digital assistant available to me wherever and whenever I need it to keep myself organized.
Later I used this media to share information with family members, friends, business colleagues and clients. Eventually I decided to add these personal pages to define my professional identity together with my skill sets, so that I could provide more information than my business/plaxo card and resume would, on demand basis.
This personal web site is very much a work in progress as time permits. I have intention of discussing and sharing things related to business, philosophy, existential psychology, wine, life and art together with some of my thoughts and notes about my vacations that I find of interest (including but not limited to Amazon Rainforest, Pantanal, Rio Carnaval, India, Ecuador, Nepal, Galapagos Islands).
So, if you have any comments/suggestions or if you see something of interest and would like to know more, please get in touch through email: info@gunduc.com or your message.
Sincerely,
Aykut Gündüç
Note: Mr. Gündüç is available to you to discuss everything you could think of that could be useful for both.
